PADI's Advanced Open Water
After you have completed your Open Water course, and want to explore more of our underwater world, the Advanced Open Water course is your next step. AOW will bring you down to 30m (instead of OW's 18m), and depending on where you do your course, you will be trying a few different "types" of diving. Five dives need to be completed and two of them are mandatory; deep and navigation. Other than that there are options, amongst many: to improve your buoyancy with the peak performance buoyancy dive; to learn more about the fishes with underwater naturalist or Fish I.D; best ways to dive with or against current in the drift dive; dive at night and meet different creatures; or learn the difference between a boat/shore dive.
